They will sell you an English manual lol

http://www.r-spec.com/manuals/out.html (http://www.r-spec.com/manuals/out.html)

Is it wired in and being used?

I don't like thinks like these More of a work around than a solution

i have a map ecu2, not great and tunner said it takes longer to set base tune / setup etc, so what you save in out right price you lose in set up/ wiring in.
might as well go link.

Its probably better to go with units that tuners are used to. Best value for money is Nistune chip although not many have tuned it in NZ, or Greddy E-Manage or HKS F-Con. These should all be under $1000 but Link will come to over $2000 plus tuning.

Greddy E-Manage Blue piggyback ECU $460 including inj and ign harnesses or should i go the ultimate one $1110 with plug in harness ,budget doesn't allow for link, I did have a look at the megasquirt too..$850-1100 with base tune loaded for the plus t, they seem to know their stuff .

From what I understand, piggy backs adjust signals from the ECU that go to engine. But if stock ECU decides to switch to knock maps during the tune, it can ruin the tune.

Nistune is good if tuner knows how to tune it properly.
