Here is a picture of where ive been told it is but nothing there . Nothing to indicate something was there.
My car has been off the road for 2 years now and this is the only thing thats holding me up.

The resistor will get hot cause it's dropping the voltage of the pump. The earth for the pump runs through that resistor at idle and light load then gets switched to earth for full voltage. It's in the drivers side rear guard at the back, pretty much the same place as where that aerial amp was but on the drivers side

It's r32 gtst with hic)as. I was looking for the fpcm but it's not where evryones told me (behind rear seat under parcel shelf

The fuel pump thing is on the drivers side in the rear inner guard part, and the dropping resistor for it is in the engine bay round the turbo. I'm pretty sure thats for the rear window demister, i can't remember if the aerial amp is in the rear pillar

I have it running on mine, just go into xp mode and put it on there and it works
do you set the compatibility mode to xp on "setup.exe" and install it?
i did that and it gave me an error message such and such exe file is not compatible and so on - so i change the compatibility mode of that file to xp and still didnt work.

Nah I tried that too first, I had to download it from microsoft but it's all free. It was virtual pc and xp mode. I'll try get some pictures up for you

neil fraser told me i would have been fine with stock brakes on my r32 gts25 +t. that was a few years ago and im not sure if stock r32 gts25 has bigger brakes...

R33gts25 does, twin piston front calipers and 280mm discs

What would your thoughts be on these on a black gtst?
They should suit it, these are bbs lm on my gtst

Maintenance & Car Care / Re: speedo issue - currently doesnt work

i never found a way to fix mine so had to get it rebuilt.

to fix it you have to take the whole cable out sorry.

all manual R32's are the same (don't think Auto ones are the same length the only thing you need to make sure is the length is right) and maybe A31/C32's. all other R chassis's are electric speedo.

hope that helps a little

A31/C33 are the same gts-4 and gtr ones are different

What could be causing that? Another thought I had is maybe I have a r33 non hicas rack where the lines are meant to be switched?

I have a r33 non hicas rack in mine and the lines are definitely switched to your picture. Why don't you just swap the lines round and see what it does?

Swap them round and see what happens. Looks opposite to the blurry photo i have of mine. Left hand side one goes to bottom and right hand side one goes to top

Maintenance & Car Care / Re: Speedo Reading to High?

Same problem thats with my car. Factory auto RB25DE (Still has the factory wheels on ). Been manual converted with a 20DET box and still has the auto diff. At 50km/h it reads 40km/h and at 100km/h it reads 80km/h . Not sure whats causing this aswell. mill give that speed specialist a ring to find out :)

Yours will be diff ratio. Factory gtst diff is 4.363 and gts25 auto is 3.583

I looked into it a few years ago. There was only a couple of places that still did them then and i think the were round $500. Moonlight racing or someone like that should be able to tell you
