Suspension, Steering, Braking, Wheels & Tyres / C33 shocks, how low?
« on: June 04, 2013, 08:01:16 PM »
c33,a31,r32,s13 aftermarket struts are pretty much the same thing in all honesty. its the springs which set the height. you can use a galant rear shock which the spring seat is about 15 odd mm lower than c33

straight up man, use universal brackets + 28mm universal bush. piss easy to do. done the same on my laurel. ring autolign palmy and ill sort you out if need be...

the problem is dude that you have covered over the reflector bit in the middle of the light which is what cops etc will ping you for...

Yeah super streets are a good unit, the thing that lets them down is that they dont go overly low. Other than that they are a real nice kit.

okay, i work for autolign in palmy...
wWth the teins my personal pick would be the mono-flex. they have base adjustable ride height, keeper springs etc etc and arent to heavily sprung. The old tein hr/ha stuff is still good, but is just way to heavily sprung for street use. A mate had them in his r32 sedan and you couldnt push it down at all the only thing taht would move was the guard!

hahah yeah i started off playing with factory struts but ended up losing the plot and just getting adjusties lol
factory gears are way easier to deal with as far as legalities are concerned though.
I get nervous anytime i go near a cop :boohoo:

haha im not suprised at  that height man!!!

i suprisingly dont really get hassled that much with my car, even tho it like 107decibles with out the silencers in....
must be the shiny paint or something? haha :p
