If I understand you correctly then you can just ditch that as you're using a different setup now.

I have all the items in the picture for sale (not my picture) which came off a vq30, it's a standard vq30det turbo but its pretty small.

Yeah I haven't got any recent pictures will probably get some this weekend, but yeah coil cover is the same color as the covers and it looks nice and stealth.  I will get some pictures with it on but it will be getting changed as I've decided to use some denso COPs.. pencil coils whatever you want to call them and they have built in ignitors so need need for the cut out at the back for the factory ignitor pack anymore.

China front facing plenum that was machined flat and painted black

800cc injectors

Got these from nissan so the injectors would fit properly and seal, they are just the same as the insulators on the 25 side feed rail

How it looks all together in the car

Coil cover I made up, I think it looks a lot better than the factory ones and it lets the heat escape.  Once it's painted and fit it looks nice.  If anyone wants one of these made or anything else laser cut that can be arranged

I have used the vtc mod before on another 30 where I just manually drilled the old plug and put it back in never had any issues.

In an earlier post I said the oil pump will need to come off again and now is the time, the reason for it is for an external (sort of) oil pick up because it's just easier with the 4wd sump.

So I welded a fitting on the oil pump for the external pick up

Blocked the original pick up gallery on the front of the block

Added this to the sump

original pick up modified

What it all looks like together

Seeing as it now has a 25 head with vtc it needed some way to get to oil there so I this replacement plug up with a hole in it, if you've seen the internal method before this will make sense.

Now just some pics of the exhaust manifold and turbo box... I didn't have any input in choosing these parts by the way

Pretty standard rb30det build here I did for a friend anyway here are some pics.

Don't have pictures of everything so I'll just show what I have.

Here are a few shots of the clearance cuts that had to be done to the block to clear the bolts on the sump adaptor plate.

Crank collar..

Grub screwed crank

New rb26 oil pump which comes off later

Arp rod bolts that were used

have they done this?

also checking the obvious things like vacuum leaks, the air flow meters and also that the ecu is right for the engine there are a few variations

On a side note do you still have the old engine?
