Hi SDU. This one is for anyone whose in increasing steering lock in their R or S chassis.

So I've just picked myself up a 2.5L Stagea the other day, and I've decided  may as well use the mags off my skidder while that's in hibernation (if you could  call it that). And I noticed that my front wheels have a slightly smaller rolling radius than my rear wheel. Will bolting these wheels on bad for the 4wd transmission in anyway? Will it make it handle funny in the wet? Will it put strain on the box? I see this car has a 4wd switch that makes it 50/50 front and back I believe, but with it off. I'm told the car constantly runs an Atessa system similar to the Skylines. Still not quite sure what that is. Anyone shed some light? Thanks.

Suspension, Steering, Braking, Wheels & Tyres / No sway bar??!!!
« on: January 25, 2014, 01:14:59 AM »
So I've had a couple mates suggest that I should run no front sway bar in the drift car... Apparently what the sway bar does is inhibit it suspension from acting independently. So removing it would increase roll, leading to more grip. Eliminating under-steer and also increasing over-steer. To me it just seems wrong to run a car without a sway bar. Just wanting to know,  has anyone been there? Anyone tried this? What do you reackon?

If your anything like me you believe that the wheels make or break  a car. Question is, what would your first pick be if money wasn't an issue. Any idea's? Who's actually got they're number one choice?

After staying the night at my in laws. I picked up my mate to help tow my car to the shop. Arrived at my place. What the hell?.... Why's my boot half open? Why are all my doors half closed? Some bastard got into my car! Luckily they didn't get far. Good luck driving a car with no steering wheel hahaha.

General Performance / Cheap catch can
« on: January 23, 2013, 07:55:35 PM »
I'm currently getting my 32 preped for a track day (hori dori) on a very tight budjet. But i'm still wanting to fit an oil cooler and oil catch can. The the cooler lines and sandwich plate or relocation adapter kit looks like its gonna cost me an arm and a leg and a catch cans about $70 $100. I had an idea, call me rugged but is there any real reason why i can't use garern hose and a drink can as my catch can? Any thoughts....

General Performance / 5 puck clutch last legs
« on: January 23, 2013, 07:32:20 PM »
Hey guys i'm currently running an exedy 5 puck  brass button clutch in my 32 wich seems to not be as grabby as it used to be. A guy I know told me.(I'm not sure to believe this dude coz he talks a load of ****). Any way he said, with the 5 puck how the pucks are quite thick so when it starts slipping the preasure plate looses contact so you take your gearbox off and tighten your preasure plate again to give it full contact again. And you get 3 ajustments like this out of your clutch before it needs replacing. Just wondering if theres any truth in this or is he all ****? Or should i start saving up for a clutch before i take my gearbox out? Anyone had a 5 puck thanks...
