BAD funky though.
6" JBL 3-way in the rear, just spent all day makin a speaker box/mount for the rear parcel shelf so its angled up...and i drive for 10 mins and the bass part fo the speaker starts givin me this nasy rattle/vibration.  My guess, its rooted?

Can they be repaired?  I got new freebies off a mate, but i like the jbl....

Thanks guys

Bad luck dude

First thing to try is disconnecting that speaker and hooking it up to the good side (if there is one).  This will tell you if there is a problem with the wiring, also can try using the balance and fade to isolate the problem.

If it works ok, on other side, you have to start looking at your wiring and this can take some time.  Usually a bad connection somewhere or an exposed wire.  Maybe even the connections on the back of the speaker.

Also, make sure the speaker can't touch the metal of the car body.

Hope this helps, otherwise drop us a line again and we can try some other things.
