Can anyone recommend any window tinters in Sydney area, I'm about to check out Solartint - has ne1 had bad experiences with them? As long as there's a long warranty I guess you can't really wrong. Are they expensive?

Cheers.

Yeh, I'm about to get mine done too. I've been looking at SOLACE....NRMA members get $100 cash back on "Formula 1 Plus" tinting, which I guess is their best quality & probably most expensive tint. Any ideas  ??

hey the chrome tint as far as i've been told is legal, but thats in wa, other states might have different laws concernin them.

:D

also it is possible to get 2 or 3 layers put on as long as the tint shop is willing.:licklips:  the problem is this is considered illegal but the cops have a darn hard time proven it.

As far as im concerned it is legal to put the chrome tints on its just that the cops have a different set of rules to the rta so it all the depends...if you get defected for them, go to a defect clearing station to remove the defect. If they dont believe you tell them to look it up in there set of rules:D
