A rather sombre F1 last night, but kutos to my close friend for having 40 notes on Monty to win, prior to him qualifying in 1st, and 20 on Rubi for a place........spawny git.

Did anyone catch Zinardi's Cart crash?  Man, it must've been insane, T-boned by a car doing 320km/h, he may have lost his legs, but he's lucky to be alive!

Anywayz, I think it's on ESPN tonight at 9 if anyone wants to watch....(all be it through the cup of their hand).

Shells gonna go nutz cause her man won:rolleyes:

the Zinardi crash was a shocker, the car hit him directly in the drivers cockpit. looks worse in slow motion looks like u can see him being thrown in the air.

I missed the crash ..
Holy crap it looks bad from what i see in that pic.
I was at the " Power Tour " on sunday which saw Truck Races , Daewoo Lanos races , V8 stockcars ( nAsCar sorta thing ) and some other races.
It was an alright day... few burnouts , couple of crashes , great racing action couldnt ask for much more.

Shell, couldn't agree more, I was begining to think Frank was gonna give him the axe for being impatient, too agressive, and generally not setteling into his new seat.  Godd to see he's been able to turn all that bad luck (and I mean tonns of bad luck) into a win.  He did it in style too, with heaps of respect for those @ the WTC.  I wonder how much he knew about his Cart mate at that time? :(
