Depends what boost you run, and what revs you want the VE for :D

im trying to choose a turbo that best suits the engine but i need a ve rating to put into the formula for it to be right,

Well it will be <100% off boost, and >100% on boost!!
Nah, it really is hard to tell, theres so many factors involved that even a program like that could give a wrong answer.

At a guess, you could try using (max boost pressure/ambient pressure)x100. I spose that would be your max VE. See if the turbo is close to what people reccommend for your car.
