My brothers A31 has 17x8" rims with 215s, but then its only for drifting, hence why it doesnt matter that they are mega stretched! He is going to squeeze 295s on there if he can...

This is a manual RB30DET, with T4 and very low.

I have FRP front fenders and Im running 215/45, the rear has 245/45 before I rolled them they rubbed pretty bad.  I was running TE37 17x9JJ +15, so the offset Im sure help that I'll post pics a later. I think the widest I can get on the front safely would be 235/45 maybe.

Yeah I doubt he will fit anything close without wider rims and some panel massage. But he is a mechanic and has access to the necessary equipment so who knows...

Either way if he does get 295s on, I doubt they will last long the way he drives (read sideways).

Ohh and Nayan, the pics of his car with the 17s are in the pics section of this part of the forum. I prefer how it looks on the GTSt rims, lower and darker suits it.
