Hmm shiney, nice.

What compression ratio will those pistons give you with the 30det?

wow its been a long time since i have updated this.. so LONG UPDATE.
so i sold the 1000cc injectors cause they are going to be too small and got some 2200cc injectors.
some other parts i have acquired are:
GKtech caliper spacers

over night parts from Japan

baffled sump thanks to a mate:

my RB25DET head went off and got some slight work done to it.

all the bottom end has been machined, balanced, etc by colliers in Levin (awesome guys recommend them for any engineering work) and was then painted:

then came time to assemble it all:

one slug done:

all done:

almost a complete engine:

looking like a complete engine:

my latest purchase:

as it sits waiting to go in.

Looks suitable..

and other bits of the puzzle i have laying around/acquired:

120mm thick intercooler:

ethanol content sensor:

a little wastegate:

and a small 4" exhaust with titanium muffler:

and that is what has been happening. oh and somewhere in there was another child..

currently waiting on my fuel rail to be machined up (-10 rail) then will fit manifold back on and put the engine in. and after my honeymoon i will look to get an exhaust manifold.
