Come on guys lets see some more Skylines representing here aye :)

You are outnumbered by 300ZXs at the moment!

Remember entries for the show n shine & for the club display received later than three weeks prior to the event are NOT eligible for prizes IE: pull finger!  :)

Prize pool is up over $15000 worth now!!

I have registered myself and my GTR for drag racing on Sunday. Not sure yet if the Evo will make it. Testing earlier on in the same month will determine it's participation.

I would love to enter the Skyline but at this its future is undecided, or if I entered and my Skyline isn't available would I be able to race a non-Nissan?

Yes Hytech is correct Saturday is Nissan or Datsun only unless powered by Nissan or Datsun.

No sign of an SDU club entry to try & win some of the $5000 from the club display comp - last week to enter next week!

A good show of Skylines for some track work though & I'm sure you will all put your hands up for the skid pad on the day :)

Up to over $15k in prizes for this event now!! :)

Hoping to have my Skyline in for the drags, still sorting out some logistics of where I am going to stay etc etc on the trip up.

Quite looking forward to this event :)

We will have D1NZ putting on three displays during the day.
Track sessions (general public) are grip sessions so no drifting.
Power slides out of corners are allowed & expected but yanking on the handbrake on the way in etc will get you black flagged pretty quickly.

Guys a new feature for those that may be keen:

Pace car laps:
We are looking at having one small group in the morning sessions that go out behind the pace car, the would mean no safety gear required, passengers are allowed, insurance still valid (if we keep speed below 100Kph - check with your own company though as this may vary).

Cost is the same $90 & total track time will be the same approx an hour, ten minute session then twenty minute break.

Please email info@nizfest.co.nz & express your interest.

cheers guys
Glenn.

(would cost up to $135 to do this at other events)

Bugga
With so many Nissans lining the grid at Drift events would have thought this could be a good option for the street guys.
Thanks

Is anyone from here racing at the drags?  I'm more than likely bringing mine up for the drive, and considering having a few runs.  Either way, my Skyline is pretty recognizeable - licence plate is a bit of a giveaway haha.
