what did the "guess the kw" car get in the end?

It pulled a grand total of 178.7rwkw, engine was a RB20DE+T with a Rb25DET turbo running 11psi and 3" exhaust from the turbo back.

that's a bit of a con. the selections only went up to 169kw was it?

i was told it was more or less standard rb20det. i hardly call a high compression block with bigger turbo standard

so i guess the prizes were given out at random?

Hi FoSho

the selections went up over 200KW each page had a list of numbers on it, maybe when you looked it was just on the page that went up to 169KW, if you tuned it over you would of seen the next lot of figurs :)

and everyone who organised the game answered every question asked corectly, so if someone had said to you it was a standard RB20DET then im very sorry but they were wrong to tell you that as they did not know what it was only 3 of us knew what the engine was and we did not tell anyone.

we answered all questions as they were asked, Q:"is it a factory turbo?" A:"yes it is" (the fun in the game is that it is a factory turbo just from a diff engine) Q:"Is the car factory turbo?" A:"yes it is as shown on the cars id plate", the whole point was to have fun and make a game from it, if you had said to me or anyone who ran the game "is that the factory RB20DET that came in the car from Nissan" i would of said no its not, everyone was honest with the answers, but it came down to what was and how it was asked :).

the prizes went to the winner, and it was so tight to call it boiled down to the .7KW that sent it to the winner if it was .2KW less it would of gone the other way :)

Dude no con, SDU is not that sort of club, the possible guess ranged from 70kw to 249kw, but most people chose to Guess between 130kw and 160kw. The guy that actually won the comp, made the Guess of 183kw and he took away the prizes. Some other people Guessed as low as 117kw and others as high as 225kw, so there was a vast array of guessing going on.

As for been standard, I thought people would have noticed that the car had had mods done to it, you could clearly see the FMIC, big bore exhaust, custom Dump pipe, K&N air filter, FPR and BOV, (it also had an aftermarket, strut brace, radiator and hoses although that had nothing to do with power out put) and there was also a apexi SAFC stuck to the dash in plain view,  If people had actually asked questions they would of gotten answers, but to the best of my knowledge there were only a couple of people that asked questions on the car used in the Guess the KW competition.

Class winners were given a certificate and a prize, and Spot prizes were drawn out at random.

Yes I had an unhealthy obsession with the R34 gtr

Videos are going to take a bit longer, cuz even though they are about a minute or two long each is about 50mb and it takes ages to upload! But the quality is pretty good and so is the sound

also if you want me to remove rego plate numbers please let me know
