depends whats type of tein you go for man, super streets- dnt go very low but have a very good ride quality,
tien flexs- go low and are more track orientated, heavier spring rates etc etc.

really comes down to what you want ae man.
most people arent to fussed with a harsher ride.

i picked up some JIC FLT-A2's from a S13 and put them in my A31 cefiro. Yeah they were second hand but tidy condition no leaks and took the gamble on them. picked them up for $950 and pretty happy with them. dont some modifications to them so i could get my car nice and low in the rear as alot of suspension dont allow for much in the rear on nissans to go down. ended up with this height at the lowest in the rear and front could probably put the cross member on the ground if i wanted to...

ill keep an eye out for a set if they look really clean etc
in the process of saving for them at the moment so still a bit off

yeah i got about another inch and half of lowness out of mine by rearranging the top hat-rose joint configuration. and also trimming off some of the thread in the lower joint bolt. worked a treat!!

oh yea how do you re-arrange the top hat part?
does that just mount the top hat lower and therfore bring it down?

nah my top hat if i remember properly had the nut ontop, the rose jointed top hat, then a spacer and then the spring top hat and a spacer under that aswell.

so all i dont was pull it all apart rearrange it to top bolt, 2 spacers, top hat and coil hat. the rose joint didnt have full movement but enough to get into the mount and pivot more than enough to reach the lower hub mount.

So there was just more poking into the boot, the length from the top hat to lower joint bacame shorter. trimmed the bump stops a little. but its so stiff it will never get to them anyway. more just to please wof man on travel.

yeah very simple.
yeah had to raise it for mean time. but once i get some wider wheels to sit outside the guards and throw the car out on the track hopefully can get it sitting nice and low.
