When I first got my R34 it had that boaty look.

After doing a lot of research an measuring, I bought 20mm spacers to go all-round, also making sure these are the correct spacers to pass the requirements for cert.

Step 1
Get your shiny new 20mm spacers

Step 2
Install spacers (I jammed the brake pedal on so I could tighten and torque up the spacers)
I also sprayed lots of WD40 on the bolts/nuts to help prevent corrosion.

Also before going ahead with this job I made sure I would be able to install the wheels without having to cut the factory bolts down a size, notice how the factory mags have lots of room for the bolts to stick out, this is good If I want to remove the spacers and go back to factory setup.

Step 3
Repeat for all wheels.
