It really depends on what you want from the car, Track days, Street, Circuit, Drift or Drag. An all round power house will always be a compromise when you use it for different types of driving, and that's just the engine, the chassis is the other factor.

 you may need fuel system to keep up i.e hi volume fuel pump and bigger injectors, 370injectors max out at around 270kw.

 ignition system i.e new coil packs,

 bigger exhaust system i.e. tube manifold and 3" exhaust from the turbo.

 DSR 3540j works very well at those power levels

Tuning is where it's at, a good piggy back or aftermarket ECU and some one who knows how to tune.

lol a gt30 would be more suited if you only want those powers and will have less lag.  only get a gt3540 if you like a bit of lag and are after a bit of power

Attention to those who own or intending to buy any form of GT garrett turbo including hks, as of the 1st of this month garrett will no longer supply repair parts for any gt unit from gt35 downwards.
If you damage the unit in anyway youll have to buy new, this puts use inline with the rest of the world and if you think buying from overseas will help they too will not supply spares and the new borgwarner bb turbos wont be suppling parts.
It would pay to put great thought into what you buy and the backup that goes with it.

The understanding is they spend too much time making parts and not enough units to which you have to ask why they need to make some many spare parts to start with?

Haha yea true, is there a brand in particular which you would recommend then in general for RB turbos of roughly gt30/gt35 sizes?

Turbocare in chch raved about borg warner when i went in and asked about my turbo.

To recomened what to use i would be typing for weeks the easiest thing is how much power your after and your wallet
