RB Wiper Motor Wiring
« on: January 08, 2011, 12:47:57 PM »
Hey guys finally got my C33 finished after a longer than it should be build.

Only thing is I don't really want to take it to a track day because the wipers aren't working.  I need to wire up the wiper motor but I've heard mixed opinions of how to do this.

-Do I need to completely re-wire the wiper motor from the switch?
-Is it possible to do the wiring at the body/engine harness?

I wired up a R32 RB25DE engine into a C33 Laurel.

Any help much appreciated.

I have done a few conversions from e power to later model DE/T I usually take the wiper wiring loom out of the engine loom and re-instal it with the donor engine loom

i was told the same thing with my laurel

apparently its a seperate loom to the engine loom and it bypasses the ecu
so in theory you should be able to find the part of the loom where the old wiper plug came off from under the dash and wire it to there
im gonna give this a crack tommorow so will let you know if i have any luck!
or else i'm just putting it on a switch to go either full tit or nothing
not too worried
