Wiring up stock tacho question S13 Rb25det
« on: November 04, 2011, 11:12:11 AM »
Hey guys

Iv put a rb25det in my s13 and obviously the stock tacho reads to high due to being calibrated for a 4 banger.

Does anyone know how to get these to read right? Iv heard you can put a resister in the signal wire, but no idea what size.

Let me know if anyone has any ideas or success.

Much appreciated.

theres a gap on either side, about 15 mm, but it can filled relatively easily, i just couldnt be bothered because i was going to put a custom cluster in anyways, and you need to make some trick bracketry, but it works, and it looks good once you realise the steering wheel obscures the gaps anyways

Hmmmm you have givin me something to think about. I like the look of the s13 cluster tho. Is there any way to get around I and get that tach to read correct?

Did you have to get abit custom with the wiring or are the plugs the same?

Pete how much would you want for yours?
