do i need to set up an aftermarket fuel pres reg if i install my walbro 500hp fuel pump or do anything else for that matter?

The factory fpr will do the rest.

what would be useful is to check your fuel pressure @ the rail while on the Dyno, as it may be worth an adjustable if your tuner deems that more/less fuel pressure would help.

Directly wire it for full battery voltage while you are installing it - cost of a relay and some heavy wire - well worth iot for later.

pressure will slightly rise with a walbro pump on a stock reg..

No it will be fine, some friends have made 200kw without changing fpr from factory with no pressure issues. I believe factory fpr is rising rate, but you cant adjust it.

i would use butt splices then heat shrink over them. that's whats in the walbro install guide
