No Spark No Injector Pulse
« on: October 04, 2014, 02:19:33 PM »
Hi guys first time posting for help.

I have a 91 r32 coupe running rb25det from r34 stagea.

Was running sweet & lost power while driving, first thought id blown intercooler pipe off again as it had done bout 20 min earler ( was on way home to fix properly )

Idled down hill n pulled over, this is where it died, jumpd out went to push silicone joiner back on but found none off.

I have pulled cas, rotated sender, no injector pulse.

I have pulled spark plug n turned over with plug in coil, no spark.

I have 5.12v at two of four wires at cas plug with ignition on ) on other two.

I have power to injectors but none to coils.

I had a simular problem years ago and turned out to be the relay... changed that out but cannot rule that out stil as was a second hand relay.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Also i have a leak somewhere, i have to disconnect battery over weekend... tips on how to find leak also be appreciated.

With your key on, you should have constant 12V at injectors and coils. If there isn't voltage present at coils, it'll probably be a relay issue. You should feel the Ignition Relay click when the key is turned on/off. If it doesn't, check for voltage and ground at the relay connector terminals. Also, you can probably swap the Ign and ECCS relays for testing purposes.
