Cheers Tony. I am still shattered mate! I must have walked, ran, and or travelled over 40kms the whole weekend.

A huge thank you from the Idrag team to the SDU members for the best stand and all the help you guys and gals did! Awesome and you should be proud.

To those I assisted in various ways you are all very welcome and only wish I could have been in two places at once.

Remember when the bull dog is on the prowl chit gets done and sorted :)

My highlight was the guy in the red MR2 that lost the plot, though he had a good reason to be upset hie reaction was over the top. The bulldog (heheh me) stepped in and sorted it so everyone was happy. Glad to see those working the gate, organizing the parking, the front entrance and working the staging lanes did not take and chit and did the right thing if someone stepped out of line.

Here is looking forward to a show twice that size next year..

Vince

What a great weekend!! I thought i  blew the car up on sat racing jo , when i saw smoke smoke smoke. luckily it was just the power steering pump fiting that came off.;)   I ran the car at 1.4 bar on sat , but could only manage 11.9's . Looks like the standard turbos run out of puff at 1.25 bar. So on sunday i just advanced the timing at 1.2 bar and this netted a 11.6 run . my other runs were 11.7,11.78 11.8,11.9.best 0-60 ft 1.64. I should of won my class racing jo he did a 11.79 and i did my best time of 11.68 but i was sleeping at the lights...:zball: zzzz. Im extremly happy that i didnt break over the weekend...next stop 11.5's hopefully;)   . Wouldnt it be awesome if a stock engine ,stock turboed gtr did. 10's. ...i just need .68 off...time for me and the car to go on a diet......great event see you guys at the night drags..!

Very good event. I actually liked it better than the 4 & Rotary Nats. Might be cause there werent so many people around so it was easier to move around and to hear the announcers. Had fun racing for a change, only bad thing was that I had to race 4BANGER in the first round of elimination and he kicked the crap out of me, he did an 11.0 and I only managed a 14.0 at 104mph (which was the highest top speed of the weekend for me, pitty it was one of my slowest times though).

Anyone got a GTR bonnet I can borrow or buy for the next night drags, I need to break into the 12's. Hopefully a lighter bonnet, gutted interior and Avgas will help. My dad wont give me his bonnet cause he'll be racing too. :splat:
