Can anyone tell me the going price for a set of Fusion 6x4's in Auckland or Wellington? I've been quoted $179 which seems a rip off to me.

Cheers, Dak.

6 X 4's don't sound as good as a good set of 5.25 components or splits do.

And fusion sucks.

just my opinion.

True, he does have a good point, but, to be honest, I'm a lazy prick :)  I'd rather just bolt something straight in and be done with it. As long as reasonable sound comes out I'm not to fussed. And yes, Fusion sux.

Cheers, Dak.

6.5s

If you cut the back off the factory pod and cut it a little wider you can fit 6.5s these sound real good. Try Jay Car in Auckland. Hellish sound for low cost. From what I am hearing that is what you are after. They have bee winners against brands such as Alpine etc for their speakers and woofers. If you are dead set keen for 6/4s I know that a pair of Blankput are $140.
