Thanks for all the advice guys it's much appreciated! The eagle F1 scores well for performance vs wear rate and also comes in the sizes I want so that's a positive! I was looking at the Advan AD08R which performs better but wear rates aren't as good and less options for sizes. I will do some research on the Falkens tonight:)

Well I am aiming to have 200-220kw so they need to be sticky enough to get the power to the ground reliably. The car will mainly be used for Sunday driving with the odd club day/track day slipped in there.

Let me know if you need more info

As the title explains, I'm looking for the best value for money tyre for my S13. $1500 is my upper limit, it's a lot of money to spend on tyres so I would like something that wears well while still performing. What size tyre should I be aiming for front and rear? I'm not big on stretching I just want a tyre that fits nice. I hear the Nitto Invo is good? It's hard to find good reviews and comparisons, at least when I've tried searching. Anyone's experience here would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance for your time!

I've checked Cam timing a half a dozen times and it looks fine aye, i don't think there is exhaust blockage because it's throaty sounding out the arse end and it just doesn't sound like a back pressure thing.

One step ahead of ya! Gave him a call last week, he suggested turning the master up untill it got better. With the Master MAXED out, black smoke everywhere but still no improvement, i came to the conclusion that perhaps the Link wasn't the issue.

Yes Map Sensor is taken off the Inlet Manifold. This ECU Has run this setup no sweat in the past. Also, the guy who tuned this ECU in the first place when this engine was in a Skyline had no issues with it, the same guy has looked at mine and has tried everything he knows as far as the tune goes. It's hard to explain but i'm 99% Sure that it's not the tune, i have talked to the guy who used to own this engine and he said even on the RELOAD'ed base map the car was still very drivable on and off boost.

Yeah i set the TPS Span with the new TPS but it didn't improve. I think i will see if the ECU is getting a signal from the TPS and go from there!

Yes i thought that also, but i have tried another TPS and it didn't change anything:( You set the TPS Span through the Link so i don't think you can get the adjustment wrong. However, i did notice yesterday that when i unplugged the plug physically part of the TPS (Two plugs i believe one is to monitor angle and the other to see when the throttle is snapped open) it remained the same no worse or no better, which is indicative of the TPS being faulty! Unfortunately even if this is the problem i have no idea how to fix it:(

Any ideas????

Hey, i have a modified Fuel Rail with an After Market Regulator so shouldn't be that. That being said i just swapped them anyway and it made no difference

Hey guys, i have just finished building an RB30DET and have lowered it into my Laurel. Has all the usuals, FFP, Turbonetics T3/T4, RX7 550CC injectors etc.

I am having trouble trying to get the thing to go properly! It starts and idles fine, but if you punch the throttle even in netural it will fart and if you hold your foot flat it just dies. Same thing happens in gear, it is drivable with 1/4 throttle but no more. I have tried maxing out the fuel on  Accel and even the Master Fuel on the link to no affect as far as this problem is concerned, it just runs really rich when it does go.

I'm out of ideas, i have replaced the plugs, CAS, Ignition Modual, Coil Packs, It has good pressure at the rail and the Map Sensor is reading correctly, There doesn't appear to be any air leaks as such (Not Auidable anyway) It has a 500hp Fuel pump which has run this setup fine before.

I Believe its something to do with the Hardware more then the tune as i said maxing out fuel doesn't even affect it. I've had a Lamda meter on it and it seems like there is no Fuel AT ALL when you put the foot down.

Can anyone help me please?!?!?!??!!

I feel it necessary to clear this up as people are getting the wrong idea. I've towed hundreds of cars with no issues in exactly the same manner as we towed yours. It was pissing down with rain and the rear wipers and demisters didn't work so i couldn't see a thing, not to mention that the wagon we used was extrodnairly gutless and was struggling to even get to 30kms, so made it very difficult to decide when actual tension was on the rope or not as it went slow regardlesss. I didn't have to come out half hung over in the pouring rain on a sunday afternoon to tow your car, i'm sorry it happened but like i said then and i still say now, freak accident never seen ANYTHING like that happen before, which lends me to think something was amiss in the first place. I'm happy to help fix it no problem i told you that just wish you made it a little more clear rather then "My mate is an idiot and ripped my car to bits"
