How long have you owned your car in NZ for?  And how long have you been out of NZ for?

Australia / In Perth Gtr in NZ how?

Hey I moved to Perth in May last year and bought my modified GTT over from NZ.

I didn't have many defects, too low - 100mm clearance all round (incl body kit etc), mesh needed to be placed over the FMIC and the Xenon lights had to be changed to non-xenon even though there were xenon from factory but there is a performance shop in Vic Park who lets you rent some non-xenon lights lol.

General Performance / Help with CAS

Can anyone tell me if the cam/crank angle sensor off an RB25DE Neo can be replaced with, say and RB20DE/T or non-Neo RB25?

If not, is anyone selling an RB25DE Neo CAS?

Maintenance & Car Care / Brand New Tein Suspension, RUINED!!!
« on: February 16, 2008, 01:35:52 PM »
I am so sad :(

I went to adjust the spring rate this morning on my new Tein Suspension that I bought all of a month ago.

Took off the wheel and noticed rubbing marks on the thread of the shock.

I went to the place that did my wheel alignment after the suspension was installed and the car was lowered.  They told me they were supposed to ring me as the camber was set at -3 degrees after the car was lowered and they were meant to ask me if I wanted a camber kit so they could adjust it further.  They never called me and left the camber as is and adjusted the toe instead.

I now have two ruined rear shocks, the left is bent from a knock its received as well as the worn thread which is on both sides,  I need two new tires and my nismo rims rebalanced.... and then I still need a camber kit.

Suspension, Steering, Braking, Wheels & Tyres / Erfolgkei Suspension

Has anyone heard of this type of adjustable suspension and know where I can get them replaced at?  Unfortunately I have 2 rear leaking shocks and am tossing up whether to replace them altogether or send them away to get fixed for $600.  Ideally I don't want to change them as I really like the ride they provide.  I'm in Hastings, NZ and there are no performance shops round here so any info is greatly appreciated!

Haha thanks for the heads up, I'll make sure to park back from the road.  You can hardly call those roundabouts, they are more like a lick of paint on the road!

My R34 did alright at Dyno, 178kw at rear wheels, quite chuffed at that.  Was only running 5 and 7psi.  I'm thinking I'll get it dyno'd again as we are pretty sure the wheels were spinning on the rollers.   The guy only got the car to do 175km and that hit redline, from what I understand R34s are good for 200km +... or would there be another reason for that?
