I was very surprised to see the final product.  Very smooth flowing lines and quite sporty.  The overall design does echo the Z quite a bit but personally I really like it!
Here is the pix released by Infinity:

Hmm, needs a huge rear wing, underbody neon lights, NOS, aluminium floor plates, and a cordia bonnet scoop. _b

Nah, it looks pretty good ... I'm not sure about the centre dash tho ... it should be more facing the driver IMHO. Like a 'yota supra.

now if they put the afterburners back and give it a proper gtr front (read the big mouth hehe) i'd buy it.

looks heaps better than the GTR concept imho.

:D

cheers for the pics DCD

It shouldn't be big and beefy as its only a "bog-standard" Skyline V35.  The actual pictures I posted are of the US version, badged Infinity G35

The back resembles the Integra/FTO/Eclipse styling, are the big rear bumpers crumple zone requirements?
Looks nice, I think those original concept pics freaked a lot of people out.

There is a good chance the bumper design and grill shape will change for the Japanese cars....but it just looks so good to me:)   Notice the after-burner type lights are still there....inside those massive rear lenses

no amount of photoshopping can make that look like a respecable street machine/beast!

it looks like a rich old mans sunday driving car... R33 shape was the best, R34 was a good upgrade... THAT however... is just disgusting.

I am with you on this one Nark the G35 looks to much like the V8 Lexus Roadster, not a bad thing though but could benifit from the after burner tail lights (dump the dodgy covers & make the tail lights separate from the turn lights/reverse lights) & a nose lift to make it stand out from the croud (Nice Wide Open Grill With Nissan Or Skyline badge in middle) move the rego plate up onto the rear bar, to brake up that huge rear bar as well as the reverse lights, as history has showen from the R30 through to the R34
nissan has been on a good thing untill now,  got to love the 7 spoke rims that are 18 by 8 with the 235 high proformance tyres.
Inside looks good still looks like a Skyline from inside but needs to have more of a cockpit feel to it by the look of it but that is IMHO

Cheers
Mike :D
