Been doing a little bit of work..

More flare work.. Sitting better front is bonded just working with the rear. front flares have been squared off. I need to glass behind them since they arnt overly beefy :(

So your not going to fiberglasss the outside of flares to body???

It should blend better once fiberglassed to the body.

Im keeping the sharp line of the flares and the side skirts. Keeps it in line with the older style.

Flares are bonded to the gards. You match up where you want everything. Bolt it in ect... Shave what you need to. Remove it and put down Pannel glue. Its higly flexable, strong, sandable, paintable. Used alot for installing Van side pannels. No welding required. Fantastic stuff. After it sets. You remove the screews, Easy and simple.

I will so a thin skim of bog/resan mix to tidy some lines up

Nice one Nick - coming along sweetly!   Look forward to seeing how it comes out :)

Don't forget to sort something out with the Holset turbo re: wastegate, what was the gate pressure again - 2bar or something? haha

I thought it might be like what is done with widebody fenders on the rear with screws, fibreglassing to blend with the body.

Looking at some oldschool flares in photo's, they seem to be bolted on with the bolt holes still showing.

What your doing, by what looks like bogging the holes, looks interesting and different. Can't wait to see the final result. :)

The flares. yeah.. Going to be a smooth look but with the sharp lines. An yes going to bog the holes. But then again the look of fake bolt heads really takes my fancey

heck that would be nice. out of the price range for anything that one!. Good thing to see it fits long nose r200's.

I do have my diff sorted somewhat, Going to use the 280z diff i have. Possibly weld it. Either way i can fall back onto my factory r200..
