Ok so rear end all done. wound my coils right down and i couldnt get the rim on tyre was hitting the guard lip. raised it a bit and cambered it as far as i could. still looked like it was going to rub the lip so i got a few poles and pipes and rolled the lips quickly for piece of mind once i let it down.

so with it still raised this is how its sitting. can go about another inch down.

so this is all my running gear in it. also tried changing over my boss kit and steering wheel. no luck the hicas one doesnt fit. so new boss kit and quick release i think.

cheers

Yeah the rims are just on there to keep it rolling for the mean time until i find some 17x10's and then once i sell my A31 body kit i'll buy the blister kit and wide body it.

Also spent about 8 or so hours yesterday cleaning all the sound deadening glue off the floor of the car. with petrol and a chisel. so now just remove a few remainding interior panels, glass and should be ready to go for the cage to be built. might put her on a chassis straightener 1st to make sure its not twisted or bent before the cage stiffens it all up.

Anyone know of some reasonably price cage builders in Waikato area?? fire some prices at me if you know of any. just basic 6 point, no jungle gym.

kits all paid for and should be here next week sometime, so straightner will put everything in line in the start of the week and stitch weld it all up. before final prep before a cage.

here's what hopefully it'll loo similar to next year. going to need some serious wheels. i.e 18x11.

ok just a couple pictures from me of some stuff i've been up to. cleaned out all that glue and crap. pulled all the interior linings, welded the engine bay ( need to scuff and paint it ). and test fitted a guard blister kits +70mm. spare front guards are getting picked up this saturday as well. need to cut out my rear wheel arches to mount the rears. and need wider wheels.

Whoa that S13.4 looks amazing, still, love the wide bodied S13.
This one in NZPC a couple of issues ago is stunning.

That has to be one of the Roughest built cars i've seen make it onto the cover of NZPC, SO ROUGH!

its kinda of a grassroots drift spec car though. its a rough sport on cars. and to have it perfect like all the D1 guys manage to requires some decent backing, so i thought for a privateer track car he's done well. I like it! i'd be stoked if mine can stay around that nice looking

Geshhhh I wouldint go dising that red S13 as its easly in the 3 best looking S13s in the whole country! he built most of it himself an at least he aint another dickhead that builds a nice car then just drives it around like a nana or leaves it in the shed its whole life! its made to be a drift car so no point making it look like a poofter show car, cars where built to be driven not built to be worked on and left there in one place come on its not a house!
Rant over
Im getting there slowly at the moment

good rant!! and fair point and agree totally. think Joels Onevia would be in the same category and if not the best in NZ. In my opinion.

i agree, with most of what you say, BUT, when it comes to just taking a Little bit of time to fit the kit propperly and a bit neater, and using enough rivits so that ht WHOLE rear guard is actually attached and not bulging out like a fat chick in skinny jeans. that is just called pride and generally, just a bit of time. it's not hard.
