Go for the manual. Its easier to add a turbo later that change the transmission.

Add another vote for manual, automagic just saps much of the engagement and fun from my driving experience.

And in the long run adding your own +T with quality parts would be the superior option :)

I love driving a manual. automatic takes the excitement from driving and also doesn't skid very good.

im running 25de box with a 25det in my s14 all depends what you want to do with what options one would/should take..

Im only running de box cos it came with conversion and could not afford det at the time

DE boxes are fine as long as you're not booting **** out of your clutch or have a high power motor, thats when they tend to show their weakness.

DET boxes are strong enough for most but not indestructable either.
