Just puting it out there but 2jz or 1jz would be easier as the turbo/intake is on the same side as the 13b

you can always cut the fire wall and trans tunnel, custom sump or cross member, there's always way to make it all work.... someone do it. there's been that JZ fd3 but i havent seen a RB fd3.

*shrug* if everything was about easy we'd be putting rb25's into r32s :P

Steve, genuinely keen to work on it, feel free to email or call or whatever, want to do

I've seen the RB version, and guess there are JZ's around as well.

Lexus v8 TT would be interesting too...could resolve weight distribution issues too.

Seen the white one and the blue riolling bodys? a damn shame they are imports and cant be reged also a ripoff for the prices they are asking huh.

im pretty sure a rb can fit in without changing the bonnet/

Yep, seen those, and your right on the pricing, just stupid for a shell.
There are a few there that are only just a little bit more for a complete car.

I always wanted to do this. The FD3S is just beautiful, but, logically, comes with a sh1t engine. Problem is the car is balanced (of sorts) for the crop duster motor, and adding a 26 (or any RB) makes it SUPER front heavy and effectively a death trap on the track.

If you do this conversion, I will help if you want. I can do anything but weld, and I look ridiculously hot in a bikini.
