New GTR Club - for all Nissan cars
« on: February 07, 2012, 03:07:23 PM »
There is a new GTR club around now, you don't need to own a gtr to be in and the best thing is it consists of rational people who are a good bunch. I know the group and most are good mates of mine.

Join up and enjoy guys. There is a cruise on this Sat so see if anyone wants to join in.

Had a quick look, saw a bunch of GTR-Elite members - did that fall over?

If everyone on this forum joined SDU that would be a good start.

To be fair I just glanced at it, but all the names I saw were people I'd seen back before I was on GTR-Elite - wouldn't have a clue who was or wasn't banned, though mildly amused nonetheless...

I had actually decided to come up to SDU AGM and become a paid member last year, was pretty keen on helping breathe life back into this club but due to a few things that unfolded on here I was talked out of it and strictly speaking take it or leave it.

I still pay a minor interest in it as I've been around it since near its inception and would quite like to see it carry on and maybe build back to full glory to something along the lines of what the guys who first made it had envisaged.

It is good to see it has gained some popularity again, I hope the committee stick to their promises/intentions and make something happen... there's no point to joining a paid club that doesn't act like a paid club.

Says the guy who has another forums name as his signature here, lol.

You would really like to discuss your dirty laundry out on this forum, wouldn't you? Told you numerous times on your elite forum that I have no interest in stooping to any such level. You have time for these petty inconsequential things, I don't.

You have nothing good to say here obviously, please kindly get off this thread. If you go on, you will prove the above. Choice is yours.

To anyone else who does want to discuss the "group that got kicked out of elite forum" topic, find out by the asking the the very group on the gtr-nz club of the petty inconsequential things.

All I want to say is, it seems "someone" still thinks that dictatorship is very much alive on elite forum.  :boohoo:

Not you mate. You are all good.

If I am breaking any rules, I most humbly apologise.

GTR Elite was conceived as a joke by myself and Fryline in 2001. I never thought it would ever be this funny. It's membership is by referral only. Elite? Not really....

We just wanted a GTR forum but we always stayed friends with the older SDU members and even had some SDU people along with us in Taupo last week.

Anyway, no undoing the past so onwards and upwards SDU!
