260 RS owners!!
« on: November 26, 2014, 05:02:30 PM »
Can you please give me some user knowledge about what wheel offsets work, the wagon has 18x8s p20 at the moment and I was wanting to run 18x10s so I can run the same 265/35/18 rubber that I run on my R33GTR, I tried a set of 18x10 p15s I have but they're a bit too outside the rear guards and I want to keep the wagons body original, I was hoping an 18x10p30 may fit in but my friendly mag supplier thinks they may foul the brembos, can someone please confirm what size is the best fit to fill the guards out and not cause any clearance issues, cheers

When I still had my Stagea, I had 18x9 15p off set on it, Fitted really nicely with 225/40x18 tyres

I had look at 18x10 but I think rears would of hit the stocks or something, Can't remember now

yes they look a nice fit but is the 260RS the same track with all the R33 running gear in it?? what fits a standard Stagea may not fit in the guards of an Autech 260RS so I hope someone in SDU with a 260 may have found out already

I have a S1 with 18 x 8. I have GTR diff and axles and have had to push the guards out. I think to run 10 in tyres its not the brakes but the suspension you need to clear and will need bigger guards.

ok, thanks for that, I have the 18x8s p20 at the moment and think I have about 15-18mm on the outside edge before the rear guards will touch, I have some Tein lowering spings I'm about to fit with some low kms R34 GTR struts, then I will have a close look at whats where and at least hope to fit some 18x9.5 p22s, that will sit the rim 17mm further outwards and 21mm inwards, and I know I have 20mm inside clearance as my 18x10s p15 cleared on the inside ok, but may need to fold the lips in on the guards but no actualy flare them at all to squeese the 9.5 p22 wheels in... well so the plan

I would like an 18x10 p30 but not sure if the extra 30mm will fit inside without hitting the rear suspension which I think is the issue with the wagons

OK update!!

on the 260 I finnaly got some tires sorted, I didn't get the size I planned as got offered some Pzero 255/40s at a bargin and on calculations the tire side wall had clearance, when I slipped the first front wheel on I thought it may not fit at all, the rears no better and the drivers side rear had slightly more neg camber and it dam touched!! Iv bitten the bullet and removed my offset bushes as they just didnt quite have the range to correct it, so now time for adjustable rear camber arms and another cert

but its a 260RS! and I'm desperately trying to leave the bodywork standard, hence going to the 19x9.5 p33 to try and get the maximum fit in the stock guards, Iv not even rolled the inner lips up yet, no way I have more than a few mm left on the outside edge, I can see the rear lips needing a small tap soon tho once the rear camber is corrected

OK so I have it done now.... 19x9.5 mags p33 offset, 255/40/19 PZeros I had to fit adjustable rear top camber arms to get the camber at -0.7 and not the -1.8 I had after I lowered it a little with Tien springs and R34 GTR struts
