Any place to go practice some drifting on a weekend basis?

Hampton downs Gymkhana drift days is your best shot. Few days coming up really depends where you are located.

There is one next month, then the big Driftjunkies event in April I believe.

I'll be attending April for sure, possibly next months event aswell.

Suits all levels of experience. I'm only just really getting into it but would much rather hit the track than the pad.

Do you know where I might be able to find some details about the days they use the pad? Only running a 20e at the moment, but purchased a welded diff to use to learn in, obviously not a ton of power but still keen to give it a crack. Is there a Facebook page or official website with information?

yeah man, look up drift junkies vs gymkhana should bring up something.

Otherwise add me on facebook and i'll link you a couple events. "Daniel Cyckoma"

I have seen there is a practice day on feb 22nd. $40 a session ( pay for both sessions would be the best bet as you'll probably get bugger all pad time for just a half day session.

Cheers for the info, I'm in Auckland so I guess hampton is my only convenient option. I'm still rocking a 25de and am about to purchase a locked diff for some practise too and the track is the best option for that. Will have to look at the 22nd Feb event, would be mad to be sideways on my birthday :D
