How can a dead ECU run???
« on: September 22, 2015, 07:10:01 PM »
Ok the story here is I got a c34 s2 Nissan stagea Rs 2wd 25det Neo. Runs a 23740 0v800 ECU factory but now running a c35 rb25det ECU 23740 5L801 which I've just put into Google and has come as a rb25de Neo (some lies from a mechanic there!!!). ECU been changed since original stagea one was fried... Cpu processor was buggered but just tonight I tried putting it back in trying to find fuel gauge problem and decided to try start it being quizzical and Waallaa! ITS ALIVE!!!

How is this possible!!! Supposably it was water damaged as it died on me one day...

Water caused  a short - fixed when it dried out? If its a DE ecu then presumably it won't drive very well.
