Oil filter relocation kit issues
« on: November 14, 2015, 09:54:43 AM »
Hey Guys, I was wondering if you guys could help me out,

I just bought an oil filter relocation kit for my rb25det, and it only comes with a fitting to suit a M20x1.5 oil filter,

So my question is what oil filter would be suitable to run, that has similar specs to a z145a, but a M20x1.5 thread size.

I've only seen some suggestions online about using an evo filter, but I'm pretty sure they use a relief valve which an RB filter doesn't use, so it could potentially not filter anything.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Try and get a 3/4 fitting - will make life easier and prevent mistakes! A lot of kits come with both so there should be some spares floating around.

Or you could buy this:

keep the 3/4 fitting and sell it as an M20 kit
