Rebuild troubles
« on: May 22, 2016, 01:22:38 PM »
Mid way thru rebuilding 20det and crank is pretty damn tight... once I had all the pistons and girdle etc on I went to crank the engine over (head still off) and it was tough as hell, had to put extension on a bar to turn it over, very tight... are they always tight when new rings and bearings are used?

Caked it, rod caps were mixed up between 3 of the rods... haha. All is well now.
