Speedo cable upgrade
« on: October 30, 2016, 10:05:33 AM »
Right snapped a second speedo cable, is there any upgrades apart from going to electric.
Or would it be best to get a new oem replacement.

there is a company in wellington Melbar Cables that use to do upgraded cables, when they did mine it was $100~ ish. might pay to call them and see if they still do them.

just curious, in what respect is an upgraded cable an "upgrade"? and why would you need one?

on mine they replaced the plastic bit that goes into the speedo with a metal on so it doesn't break again. and the reason you would do it is to stop your speedo cable breaking.
